Thawing Processed Meat
This works for ground meat, but not formed burgers: I cook 1.5 pound tubes of frozen venison burger at work every week. Put hot plate on lowest setting and cover with lid. Every few minutes scrape the thawed burger portion and break it up with a spatula. I sometimes move the pan off center so...- Islander

I try to spend at least one night a week out here in winter, 99% of the time during the week. Head out after work. Pitch camp after dark. Get up next morning and head back into the office. :) Sunrise from my little SUV bed this morning. -

I appreciate it, but it's not warranted, because you are concerned about things that are actually not going to happen. 1. Those bolts are rated for at least 4600 pounds in single shear. My dude, your concern is welcome, but unwarranted. Those tie downs are Canyon Dancer tie downs. They don't even bend until you exceed 2200 pounds...each! The bolts are rated in shear at over 4500 pounds...each! So the bike isn't going anywhere. I connect to those powerful rings with climb-rated...- Islander

Time to upgrade pickup?
I'm in the pay it off and drive it till it dies camp. Nothing like NOT having a car payment. I like the fact that my "truck" (2016 Expedition bought used in 2019) has enough dings that I don't worry about it. I like to add useful mods over time. This satisfies the "I need something new" desire...- Islander
