16" still gives you plenty of velocity out to 500+ yards for a 147 ELD-M. 17" is good past 600. -

Crazily, there was another Paul Hutchinson who did almost the exact same crime, but in England. It took 26 years and DNA to catch him. Thankfully lots of these monsters are going to be caught now that there are huge DNA registers that cooperate with law enforcement.- Islander
