USFS Halts Prescribed Burns
Can anyone imagine Amazon, or Walmart, or Mc Donald's, or any mom and pa shop in America, needing to take 3 months to figure out if they are capable of doing their job? Same board handles all licensing. DOPL. Folks would be shocked to see how many contractors someone's mom, mother in law, cousin, etc because namesake had a license pulled. Word was his boy and some guides were getting licensed up this winter, almost like something was upcoming- hossblur

Generosity to non-residents
Living in the heart of "transfer" country, the opposite is true as well. Guys can't draw tags in there own state(not LE, or OIL, but deer or elk tag), only to find the hills full of NR plates, gives them a bad taste. Lot easier to convince them that without the feds owning that land, be fewer...- hossblur

Can I, as a Utahn demand access to NR tags in Iowa, AND be given access to 60% of the state to hunt? It's never mentioned that the "screw job" western states put on NR, includes have of the state open to access. What's a lease going for these days in the Midwest?- hossblur

I was "that guy". A fella should buy a rifle in .270, 7mm, 30-06, or 300 win., because you can find those bullets in any hardware store, convience store, or outdoor store anywhere in America. Especially the 06' and .270. Man was I wrong -

I had this gun, minus the kick pad. It's the reason I hate .308. I've never had a gun kick like that. It hurt to shoot it. Created a bad flinch. It was fast, and stacked up my first few deer, but I gladly traded it for a 110 Savage in .243. Guy I traded it to, hated it so much he traded it... -

Who deserves a tag?
Here's a novel idea. Bury every and all point schemes with the grey hairs that invented them. One person, one chance. No points. That makes youth equal to everyone else so you can end carve outs. Ends land owner and guide carve outs as well. Pick a single species for apps, no more shotgun...- hossblur
