    BHA can now celebrate. Hypocrites

How, exactly? A homeowner might plant grass or a tree.

    BHA can now celebrate. Hypocrites

Can't wait to hear the protests from BHA about energy leases on public land. Oh, that's right, they support public land development in this case https://www.sltrib.com/news/environment/2022/04/21/blm-issues-first-solar/

    Poached antler sales

Didn't realize we were only allowed to comment on issues pertaining to the state we reside in. If that's the rule, perhaps you should have noticed the article was a Utah antler sale. I'll assume, not in your state.

    Poached antler sales

To be honest. I'm much more concerned that there has become such a big market for horns, period, so that's probably some of my hesitation. Seems like we are bumping up against the market hunting/trapping model that nearly destroyed hunting to start with.

Mike Lee introduces legislation to sale and develop public lands

There is a lot of entrenched, Utah power and money, that DOES NOT like Lee. McMullin was financed by them for Pres, and I'm sure for Senate. Problem is, neither of Lee primary challengers will seperate themselves from him on land policy. I've gotten multi paragraph word salad replies from...

Mike Lee introduces legislation to sale and develop public lands

SFW paraded Romney around the state to their banquets as a "friend to hunters". Check that other co sponsor😉

    Poached antler sales

"My" soft judges, ain't just a Utah problem. Not sure what "libs" has to do with anything. I "feel" like poaching sentences are weak. Mainly because they are. Generally they include hunting bans. Bans which to law abiding folks might matter. To poachers, they didn't care about hunting laws...

    Poached antler sales

Lete know when you get that reduced tax burden. Reality is, judges are extremely light in charging. A deer in Utah, is worth up to $325,000. Yet rarely do fines even compensate us. If you don't think there is a large poaching black market, you need to wake up.

Honestly, yes, I'd prefer them destroyed.

    Poached antler sales

https://www.fox13now.com/news/local-news/dwr-to-auction-forfeited-antlers-furs?_amp=true I struggle with this. As a libertarian I don't like financial incentives for gov seizures. As a hunter, I feel like the DWR is helping to both set a market price, and supply that market. Which, helps...

Mike Lee introduces legislation to sale and develop public lands

I proposed an idea to Rob Bishop once. Why not make a trade system? Developers/O&G can trade acre for acre, useless BLM/School Trust land, for acres the public would benefit from(hunting, rec, etc). He was getting back to me on that., Apparently via stagecoach or messenger pigeon

Mike Lee introduces legislation to sale and develop public lands

The leadership, coincidentally I'm sure in Utah, are all developers, short of Cox. Top notch guys too, like Mike Shultz, who took a truckload of PPP money, as his development/construction company enjoyed the building boom. Utah has no water. They are paying people to rip out grass. Ag just...

Only 10 days...? Ammon Bundy heading to jail.

The "strategy" of the R, via the great folks like my former congressman Bishop, and my lovely senator Lee, was to starve the public land maintenance budgets to death, forcing closures, then call press conferences to denounce the "libs" in these agencies for shutting access. Mike Lee, gave a...

    American prairie. What's the issue?

True. Until Jr figures out dad's passion, means feeding cows in Feb. Or that he can sell that headache, and never work a day again. Combined with the assault on easements, and suddenly APR looks a lot better

    American prairie. What's the issue?

As a kid my neighbor across the road decided he was going to raise buffalo. Bull got through the fence, out a Volkswagen bug in a ditch, and smashed a van. Rancher down the road killed it with a 30-30. That was a fun day as a kid

    American prairie. What's the issue?

The OP legitimately as a Utard, didn't understand if their was a "dark hand", conspiracy, or just outsiders coming in, that makes APR controversial. Doesn't seem like after 240 posts, it much more than the usual, NIMBY/Outsiders concern. As I sit here on the Wasatch front, watching it go from...

    American prairie. What's the issue?

Been 30 years since I was in an LDS church. But I'm pretty sure they don't pass a plate around. And, the LDS church, has the single biggest CWMU in Utah, 40,000 acres. And it's fully huntable. You can buy tags, or draw them. Lots of conspiracy theories in Montana I guess

    American prairie. What's the issue?

$20 in a plate? Helping your brother? Wth does that have to do with APR?
