What scope for my new lightweight build

I bought mine used off Ebay. SWFA had them in stock a month or so ago, and sold out quick. I've emailed Nightforce asking for a 3-10 SHV that's FFP with a decent reticle. That would be nirvana as far as I'm concerned.

What scope for my new lightweight build

I had Vortex before. Things like adjusting zero a bit between shooting sessions, also, they wouldn't adjust in the values on the turret. I also had a Viper loose zero after a flight. Now my rifle stays zeroed, even after airline or road travel. I can adjust off a reticle reading if I'm...

What scope for my new lightweight build

I can't 2nd this enough. A lot of little intangible variations just suddenly disappeared when I switched to Nightforce.

We are well beyond 15-20% higher than some in our area, at least in labor/overhead/profit. And yet I can't keep our backlog down. We have a lot of folks in our area that have moved in from out of state, and they are quite happy to spend money with someone who at least tries to communicate.

You may be right 90+% of the time, but..... One of the reasons we stay very busy, even though our rates would be considered high in our market, is that everyone gets put in a sales process. It starts with a scheduled 15-20 min phone call, then a site visit is scheduled, after which quotes are...

As someone who makes a living remodeling, these threads make me chuckle! The fixing isn't the hard part, it's knowing how to make money at it that is challenging!

Posting Unit #'s to Public Forum

For me, personally, it's bordering on unethical, as the thread is searchable, and the other hunters in any given unit had no say. For others, I don't necessarily use the term unethical, but I believe it's certainly unwise.

    Cormac McCarthy

I have these 3. In some ways I hate reading them, because it can be depressing, but occasionally I just feel like reading one again. I feel he, more than any author I know, writes with brutal honesty about consequences for choices. And yeah, he's the master of vivid word pictures.

    Rifle Scope Failed During Hunt

That's fine, to each his own, but it's certainly a lot more relevant than the endless parade of gun writers getting invited to Texas, shooting a pig/exotic/cull buck under a feeder, and raving to us about the glass......

    Rifle Scope Failed During Hunt

The guy who's been testing scopes on the 'slide has got a bunch of them to have zero errors just riding around in a vehicle on FS roads.
