As a thought experiment, I've wondered sometimes how much hunting there would be if we could somehow designate a fall season that you could not tell anyone, online or otherwise, what you experienced.
I'd still be out there, and I think there are quite a few hunters who'd join me. I think...
I think they're trying to stick it to an insurance company.
I rolled my 4 runner in CO in November. Mine was a little different, it was sitting right next to the highway on its top in the ditch. The truck had about a 40 mi run, and was called by the Hwy Patrol. Rolling it over took 20-30 min...
Some of my views probably have to do with the fact that I'm a bit of an anti social curmudgeon. I'm less convinced on Steve and Randy, though.
Early Meateater was pretty unique, and I was a fan. I have his cookbook on my shelf, and I owe some of my interest in wild game cooking to that show...
This has all been discussed at length on some of the podcasts he's been on. I can see where it's a little more vague on his website, but his views are quite clear. If you want to know just what his positions are, the Blood Origins podcasts with him go into quite a bit of detail.

Well.....this thread has taken some interesting turns........
But I still haven't been convinced to cancel my Stop Hammering t shirt order, or follow, friend, or otherwise adore and fawn over any shirtless manscapers who supposedly like to hunt, so I guess stasis remains......
I used a Havalon for a few years, but throwing away blades just never felt completely justified to me, and I switched to a Benchmade Steep Country. It's a great knife. I still have a Havalon for backup with me, and occasionally use one for processing at home. I've also messed with a knife blade...
Dealers sell F-150s at all different price points too. Some are XL, and some are Platinum......
We probably aren't going to change each other's mind......
This is getting tangential to the discussion, but.....
I order shirts for our company occasionally. I have no doubt that they can sell 100 of the cheapest shirts in their catalog with a very simple design for $9 apiece. The question is what it costs to start with a shirt you actually want to...
Go check costs a few places to do design, production, inventory, sale processing, and shipping, and get back to me. I doubt in the long run he'll make anything meaningful. Honestly, I don't care if he does......
