    Blue Zones, fact or fiction

This is purely anecdotal, but my parents do housecleaning, and have a nice assortment of wealthy clients. All those resultant behaviors, with the exception of dangerous communities, perhaps, occur in the wealthy as well. Poverty has many ills, but I don't think stress is a unique problem of the...

    A good year

My brother and I own a small construction business, and for us 2023 was by far our best year yet. We've been in business since late 2015. Demand was high, as well as profitability. On the personal front, we are absolutely feeling the effects of inflation. My wife is a stay at home mom, and we...

2023 Talkie Hunt Recaps - by popular demand

I hadn't seen the Super tag thread until now. Wow! Tangential, but talking about epic seasons, there's an Alaska resident on Rokslide that killed a stud Dall ram DIY in Alaska in late summer, and then came down and killed a good Unlimited ram in November( if I'm reading between the lines...

Kinda live Mississippi deer tracking thread

Very cool thread! My dad has a little dachshund that has been a huge help a time or two. Does it get old seeing the less then perfect shots/situations over and over?

    Swaro Btx Objective Lense Question

To add, my buddy just bought a 95mm ATX, and he feels like it's a lot more manageable as far as packing it in. The 115 is, in my opinion, for glassing spots not too far from the vehicle.

    Swaro Btx Objective Lense Question

I rented a 115 and BTX eyepiece for my 3rd season hunt this year. It's an amazing piece of glass. But you are not going to be packing it a lot. It needs a serious tripod, and it....is.....a.....pig........

Stockys ultra carbon tikka vertical grip

The physics make complete sense to me on this stock. I get that it looks different but I don't care about looks if it does what they hope it will. I think they sold a pile of pre-orders.

    What are you currently reading?

I've read sections of this one before, but I'm trying to get the whole thing read while at the in-laws for Christmas. It's a bit to bite off at 700 and some pages. Some thoughts.... -T.R. was a naturalist. It's amazing the kinship I feel with his observations and experiences as an outdoorsman...

I think its going to be a winner. I would have got in on the pre-order but I've got some other financial fish to fry right now and I'm trying to be a bit thrifty. I will own one at some point, I think.
