Where does all the rifle BS come from?

This has been discussed many times. Here is an earlier hunt talk post from somebody who knows much more about it than I do. https://www.hunttalk.com/threads/answered-whats-enough-bullet-for-elk-long-read.276510/

Lady friendly elk calibers and model?

If you are looking for a budget friendly setup, I went with the Thompson Center Compass in 30-06 for my wife and son. It comes with a threaded barrel. I added muzzle brakes to both. My wife and son where a bit recoil sensitive and the muzzle brakes took care of that. Add a scope and you are...

Dog Bit By Moccasin In FL

I would definitely talk to the vet. Both rattlesnake and moccasins have a hemotoxin so it should be effective. My spoiled rotten Lab is just our fuzzier kid. Anything that helps. Especially when you are hours from anywhere.

    Hello from Yuma Arizona

There are a couple extremes for Mule deer in the Yuma area. Some remote desert areas that require some packing, or right next to the farm fields for some venison that's as close to farm raised as you can hunt. Our last Mule deer was near the farm fields and stuffed with Alfa and lettuce. He...
