How do you deal with gifts for nieces and nephews....
Nerf guns always the go too. It’s how I keep close to my nephew’s from far away. Always a pick me up nerf war when I come visit and the newer cooler nerf guns get em exited. Don’t ask Santa from Chicago for nerf guns, he makes kids cry when he tells them he doesn’t give guns to kids.- midwesterncrosshair

I know a guy who literally hunts with a rifle in IL. Had the barrel cut down and shrunk the stock under X amount of inches and claims he is hunting with a handgun which is legal to kill deer with. DIY backcountry food?
Does anyone have any DIY backcountry recipes they would be willing to share? I usually will buy two mountain house meals and re-use the bags to cook ramen or a type of pasta. Sleeping wet in a sleeping bag.
I’ve heard the saying if you’re wet crawl on your sleeping bag and try to sleep and your body will dry your clothes off by the next morning. I haven’t had to put this to the test but is there temp point where you say I will not crawl in my sleeping bag wet because of the cold? Just wondering...- midwesterncrosshair
