I agree. There needs to be some etiquette classes required and accountability held to all public elected officials in answering the people back that they work for.
Harvesting Goals 2024:
1. Harvest a Monarch, Imperial or non-typical Bull Elk. Last 3 of my personal pursuit of each size within a species. (cow, spike, 2 point, 3 point etc.)
2. Harvest a 160+ buck. Whitetail or Muley.
3. Harvest a 14” Antelope buck.
Wait for it……all in my home state...
👆🏼This!👆🏼 Right on!
We have to change the current path of our Montana Hunting from a revenue stream to a precious resource mind set. The ”Joe public” hunter considers our animals a resource. (does not include outfitters) Politicians see them as streams of revenue. This is like trying to mix oil...
Thinking about trying a Beef Wellington for Christmas on the Traeger. Anybody have tricks or suggestions?

I have had a ton of different knives over the years and am currently using a Cutco serrated and a Cudaway Big Sky. Both have been spectacular! I broke the tip on the Cutco trying to pry an ivory out. Sent it in and they replaced it. No questions asked.
The Cudaway is new for me so the jury is...
I grew up eating this exact thing almost every month. Didn't know it was called that and never felt poor. Just got tired of the beans and we were only allowed one slice of cornbread! If we were lucky we would have butter and honey on it. Delicious! Man were you living the high life with 2 slices! 👍🏼
Boy Howdy! We buried a 1 ton Dodge to the grill once in the badlands. Had to walk 3 miles in gumbo to get the Rancher. He brought his Ford Tractor. It didn’t even rev up to pull us out! Won’t do that again! He laughed and shook his head at us. 😔
I look for deep forks. Heavy horns will stick out also. Width can be such a misnomer so I don’t use it to judge a buck like others will but use it AFTER the forks and the heaviness.
👇🏼This buck would have been a great buck in 2-3 years.
