Montana mule deer rut activity

Deadheads - Let's see 'em
I passed on this Buck in 2023 hoping to see him bigger in 2024. Found him in the upper part of the same drainage dead next to water just this week while looking for him. Either someone wounded him or he got sick late last season. He would have been shootable this year with reasonable antler...- Raisin Bran

Extreme hunting pressure in region 7.
Same experience as you opening weekend of Antelope but wasted animals. We found 3 dead antelope within 1000 yards of each other. 2 of the 3 had just the back straps cut out and left the rest to rot. The third Antelope was shot and not retrieved. We were able to salvage and tag it. All on public...- Raisin Bran

Ok. Sorry for the post of half eaten ribs! Couldn’t get a pic fast enough before the family dug in! It seemed to b a hit!💯 I used a Worcestershire and balsamic spritz which created a dark delicious bark.- Raisin Bran
