It sucks, but I’d definitely get those screws pulled and cleaned, locktite, and retorqued, if nothing else, for your own piece of mind. A couple other things; this rifle will walk with a hot barrel, so it’s important to give it a little time in between shots. Also, have you tried a variety of...
Have you checked all your action screws? My buddy ran into a similar issue. Ended up being the bases that came with the rifle were loose. Ended up pulling the screws out of both his and mine, cleaning the factory oil off, and locktite them back in.
I have a 92 in 7mm and yes, it’s a sub moa gun. In my opinion, the brake does a great job of reducing recoil. As others have said, it doesn’t take many shots for the barrel to heat and your groups to walk. Luckily in most hunting scenarios, that’s not an issue. The key to this gun is finding the...
I understand eastern hunters coming out and shooting whatever to get one under their belt and be able to say they came out west and got it done. What I don’t understand is repeatedly spending the money to travel all that way and continually shoot anything with antlers. There’s not enough...
I just spent a week in eastern and south central Montana. In the Far East, the area I’ve always hunted, we noticed a significant decrease is bucks with any age to them. We’re used to not seeing anything of significant size on blm, but most of the go 2 areas of private that we can’t hunt, but...
I bet when they roll in, the pvt land owners practically beg them to come hunt their property. This is truly one of my all time favorite threads. No matter how crappy a day I’m having, this one puts a smile on my face
I’m not from Wyoming either, but you’re within 2 hrs of one of the best guys in the business. John Graham is up in Lusk. He’s a great man and one of the best trappers I know. Every summer, he has a “coyote days” gathering at his place. It’s full of great people and great demos. You should plan...
First off, the word “munchies”....the shear sound of that word spoken nearly sends me into an uncontrolled rage. People in general (I like my quiet alone time when I’m awake and breathing). Blaze orange. Blaze orange and camouflage worn by folks on a casual visit to their favorite sporting goods...
One of my good friends from out there is good friends with him. He took us there to see his place. I really enjoyed my time there. Daryl is a hoot, and A heck of a character for sure. Really enjoyed his place. He’s a fantastic taxidermist
