Hard to beat a Yamaha Grizzly regarding capability and longevity. Yeah, they’re heavy but really can’t be stopped with a decent winch and some winching know-how. Sold mine last fall with 4000+ miles on it. Was still going strong.
How would I fully understand the situation when you did not share those details??
I was showing sympathy to your situation because you were negatively affected by a group of shitty hound hunters. I'm invested in the reputation of hound hunting and actions like you experienced do not improve...
Well, I guess it depends on how mad you are and how far you want to push the issue at this point. It sucks that another hunter negatively affected your hunt.
Yes, primarily public but scattered private that we are careful to respect. Knowing that about your area only embraces my comment about reporting those outfitters. Their intent sounds pretty blatant.
As a WI hound hunter, I'm sad to hear about your season. @thusby is right about taking advantage of the week that hounds aren't in the woods. I too would suggest the years where sitting bait is the late season, like he did (although it looks like the first week could have been very productive...
I'd recommend a Berettta A400. I have a 10 year old Xplor that has been nothing but excellent. It's my everything shotgun at this point -just switch out choke tubes. At least 10k rounds through it with zero failures! (I shoot a lot of trap and sporting clays).
I don’t know how far you want to go down this path but it wouldn’t hurt to check around for a 1 ton G van diff. Those are a few inches wider. You’d introduce potential gear ratio and pinion flange differences and such. Spring perches are easy to move but you’d probably end up rebuilding it just...
Best outcome you could hope for! We’ve done three camshaft jobs on Mopar products this week (diagnosed over several weeks and finally got parts in one lump sum).
As stated above, camshaft and valvetrain issues are common. Especially when you have a lean condition and just one cylinder misfiring (and bank two valvetrain failures are more common than bank one). Coil wiring is also a fairly common issue. You'll need to clear codes between diag steps as the...
Ok, has the corned venison recipe been posted? That stuff looks delicious. I have one big elk roast set aside for that or pastrami. It’s the last piece of elk in the freezer and I’m having a real hard time talking myself into experimenting with it.
