Alaska Moose 2014 - Booked!
Michael, just hunting caribou. My son is a high school English teacher, and football coach at a little town in western Kansas, and needs to be back from our trip by the 16th or 17th of August. Alaska Moose 2014 - Booked!
Good to here you have your hunt for 2014 booked, Michael. The day after Thanksgiving, my son, a friend, and I got our early August hunt on the North Slope booked. I will be looking to return again, in 2016 for a moose hunt. I got the Alaska bug, bad.- knute78

dustinf, I don't think your friend was hunting in Ontario, as I don't believe they have a caribou season. Then again, maybe that is why he didn't get much cooperation about the migration.:eek: Knute- knute78

DIY Caribou?
My son and I did a DIY hunt out of Tok, using 40-Mile Air, in september of 2010. We drove from Kansas, and pulled a trailer with 2 freezers to haul meat back in. Gas, tags, flights round trip, and meat haul flights, ran us abought $8200 for the both of us. We had a great time, saw some beautiful...- knute78

Thats a good one, Randy. Been listening to the old "Cheech & Chong" albums, I see. Another thought, I bet when this is all over, they get it cleaned up, without a trace, and rebuilt quickly.
