Is there any other bag manufacturer that has a pad sleeve like Big Agnes besides them? My buddy is really wanting a pad sleeve, but wants more options than just Big Agnes. I couldn't think of anyone else. Thanks!
+1 for the Garmin Instinct. I've had mine for a year, and use it for running, hiking, cycling and some light navigation. I like getting the notifications, how it gives me the weather and sunrise/sunset & first/last light times. It's pretty accurate on the weather and sunlight times. I'm not sure...
It will probably be a local and personal preference. Some of you might recall I have promoted the Austin (TX) BHA group a lot, and was at one time in a leadership position. We had a great group in Austin who was very hands on, and I actually made some great friends within the local group...
I bought a ruffland from Cabelas a few years back before they changed the name, and it is a big upgrade over the plastic two piece kennels IMO. I just use it on the road. I think I have the intermediate size (not 100% sure), but it fits my 75lbs lab. I felt those were the best bang for my buck...

Been there. I no longer speak to a guy because of his behavior on a hunt. What sucks is our wives are friends. It's awkward at times for my wife. My free time is too precious to spend it with folks like that though.
My best friend from college, but he moved to Cali. We duck hunted together in college. A few years back I was telling him about how I was planning on getting into big game hunting out west not thinking he would go with me (he's a workaholic). He immediately asked if he could join me, and now we...
I try to rest 3-4 days before a hunt or race, so I'm fully recovered and rested. I've noticed a difference in my races if I only take a day or two off. I really try to shoot for 4 good days of rest prior.
Yeah, I hardly ever go to Bass Pro, but they are close by and have a good Santa for my son to visit (photo op). If I go to either it's to Cabelas a little farther down the road in the opposite direction, but even that is scarce these days. I was just telling my wife that Bass Pro is for "Bubba...
