I have an F150, and just have an organizer bin designed to fit under the back seat. I carry a lot of stuff (simple tools, PPE, first aid, extra water, tire kit, jumper cables, air compressor, rain jacket, flashlights, etc), and everything I need on a daily basis fits there or tucked under the...
Nah, I'm just 6'4" and most hip belts hit me at the belly button unless that have the adjustable frame which most day packs in this category don't. Basically I'm not a midget ;) LOL.
This one has lasted me 5 years now. No complaints at all.

My wife and I were apart of the same student organization while in college at Texas A&M, and I met my future in-laws before we were dating but were good friends. A group of us were headed to work an out of town fundraiser for our org, and were passing close by her parents' house. They wanted to...
Howdy everyone,
I'm looking for a new day pack that can pull double duty for easy day hunts (tree stand hunts), hiking, skiing, and whatever else I might throw at it. I'm looking for something around 1500CI, hydration bladder compatible, and ideally comes in solid colors. I prefer that it...
I just bought a new rifle and plan on tossing the cardboard box it came in after I shoot it a few times. However, my dad kept every box for every rifle he bought new in our attic. Should I keep the box, or throw it out? I can't think of any good reason to keep it.
Howdy, I'm looking to add a long coveted 300 win mag to the gun cabinet, but the rifles I'm looking at have different twist rates. One is 1:10 and the other in 1:8. I'm not set on using a particular bullet weight yet, but I'm leaning towards the 1:8. Any reason to stay away from the 1:8? Are...
I have Brownings and Stealth Cams. Neither is bad, but I prefer the Stealth Cams. The batteries have lasted significantly longer, picture quality is about the same between the two models I have, but the Stealth cam was about $30 cheaper. I also feel like the cards are easier to take out on the...
I have an old Cabela's flashlight that runs on CR123 batteries that I bought over 10 years ago. It was great, but I got tired of buying batteries for it so I tried some RCR123A rechargable batteries that I thought were compatible. When I tried to use the flashlight with the RCR123A batteries it...
As far as central Texas it has been slow for the past three years, but there are still birds to be found. Definitely not in abundance though. I have a friend that guides at the coast and it's been red hot there, but that is usually the case.
I think the folks at gohunt have been in my head. They are starting to roll out some videos dedicated to this. I'd still like to see Randy fill in the gaps they miss. Especially how he handles his clothes that are waterproof or with DWR coatings.
Get you an MSR storage bladder so you don't have to go get water every day. I have the 10L one and love it. I can go about 3 days between water runs with that thing.
I don't think Randy has covered this one in a video yet, but I know it's been discussed to a certain extent here. However, I enjoy the YouTube videos so I'd love to see what he does for gear care and if he does anything different when he stores it for the year. Do you do any special treatments...
