If your arms are long enough, you might want to take off the butt pad and replace it with a Limbsaver or Pachmayer recoil pad. This will lengthen your length of pull though.

Went out for the last two hours of the day with my son yesterday. Not many birds were flying with a cold front and rain on the way. I shot 9 and my son got 8. This morning was overcast and about the same as yesterday. My buddy and I each shot nine.
Buddy uses Big Game in his .270 Sako with 130 Barnes tsx and Hornady interlocks. Both rounds shot .5 MOA and the Hornadys are usually a single ragged hole. He used that round to shoot his bighorn two years ago and several deer and elk.
Similar to Dakotakid, I have been working to reducing the varieity of powders and bullets I am using for each rifle. Hoping to then buy more of the powders that cover most of my needs.
Strength and durability would be my concern. Have one slip out of your hands onto a sharp rock and will it puncture and lose the seal? If the handle is bending from a simple fall from waist height, I doubt it will last long on a cross country hunt. Great for around the house or on a road trip...
I am guessing at the end of the work day this Thursday, July 29th. That way if they have any screw ups, they will hear about them on Friday, and have the weekend to figure it all out before taking on the mass of calls that will come the following Monday.
