MSG points are bonus points, elk/deer combination are preference points and you do lose those if you don't apply. Two separate deals just FYI. Bonus points never go away.
I have purchased two off ebay. The first SE was well used and it was a great shooter. Only added a sight to the bow and that's been 3 years ago. I've taken deer with it and love packing it along, it's an 88 model. It's been shot a ton in practice.

It's flat out criminal IMO. They get away with it because everyone gets the kickbacks somewhere during the whole process. The whole system needs an overhaul. I don't see it happening though and if it does, will it be better or worse?
