    Relocation For High Three Retirement

I agree with the DC information that has been passed along. I did 3.5 years in a HQ job that was outside of the actual HQ downtown. Worked from home quite a bit. Teleworking options are more prevalent there it seems. I'm a fan of the WV panhandle counties as well even though I didn't live there...

It was rough going for us last week also. Saw enough to make a good hunt but numbers are very very low from my previous trips before.

Making a job change possibly...what would you do?

So, me reading this you are obviously unhappy in your current job. But, your wife is right you are much more qualified and deserve more than 40k a year with your education and experience. 40k today isn't the 40k of five years ago. It's hardly a living wage. I'd find a position making more than...

Extreme hunting pressure in region 7.

That's another thing the herds we did see were mainly small herds of 5-10 animals. They just weren't there unless the first few days of rifle season had them pushed off into holes. I hope that's the case.

Extreme hunting pressure in region 7.

I hadn't stepped foot in MT since I think around 2016 or 2017 until last week. I must say I put 1,100 Miles on a rental from SE through Central into Western Montana and I was amazed at the lack of deer and antelope in areas I was use to seeing hundreds of animals. We seriously saw one herd of...

I think that is my connection and love for squirrel hunting. It's a trip back in time. I love a nice .22 I'd kill for the bolt version of that XXII.

A morning in the Blue Ridges

I've hunted most of our North American big game all over the place. But a squirrel hunt on the family farm is my favorite at the end of the day.

A morning in the Blue Ridges

I always enjoy the first fall mornings in the squirrel woods each year. It's the first time I'm in the woods usually and it always bring back the best memories. Memories of sitting under ancient hickory trees on the family farm I walked miles on as a young boy caring airguns, 22 rifles, and the...
