What do beets taste like to you?
I put sweet because I love beets. But really it’s both. And maybe I’d say “earthy” rather than like dirt. 😄 Mushrooms are earthy too. There is something very satisfying about eating something that tastes of the earth. Similarly, a good oyster tastes like the ocean without being fishy.- CycleFishHunt

New Ice Auger; What should I be looking at?
Disclaimer: I went ice fishing for the first time two weekends ago. We used the Nils USA 8" Convertible. It's a hand auger that you can attach a 18V+ drill to (stabilizer handle recommended). My Grinder Sucks - Grinder reviews
I have the LEM Bite Bite #5. It’s roughly 1/3 hp. The most I’ve ever put through it in one go was 9 or 10 lbs. It gets the job done. I am overdue to try and make sausage with it so cannot speak to that, sadly.- CycleFishHunt

Anyone ever fish iceland?
I can’t help answer your question, sorry. But about 20 years ago, while visiting a friend on the base in Keflavik, we did a charter for a few hours. We caught so many fish it was ridiculous. My bag on the flight home weighed a ton, filled with frozen fish. Good luck!- CycleFishHunt
