That is still really young. I would probably turn him lose on a known deer track/sighting a vibrate then shock and try to get back on rabbit tracks. At least he is tracking game that is way better than not running anything
I would personally look into Lauel, Lewistown, Miles City, Spearfish/Belle Fourche, Butte, Townsend, Great Falls before moving to a entirely different area without really visiting first. Great Falls has a huge missel upgrade going on over the next few years and should have more people moving...

OK has some the best fishing anywhere I've been...
They had is last year and I wrote a letter to one of the landowners that we deer hunted on. Never heard back. They should give them about 3x the amount of money they are getting for all the headache
I'm really surprised you killed anything wearing those clothes? Every successful hunter needs kuli, first lite, or sitka from head to head and a binocular harness! Just kidding, and I'm the same as yourself. Congratulations again

Working in Region 7 for a handful of years in the hunting months I think having nonresidents pick a weapon and choose a specific 7 day period to hunt. In addition to picking a region. Same should apply to upland bird, turkey, and pronghorn seasons. The FWP would still generate the same revenue...
Congratulations! That is nice Mountain Goat. How do they taste? I've heard they have a great flavor but tough. Looks like beautiful country up there. Would it have been easier with packstock?
