    .54 caliber patched round ball elk load?

    I bought a 50cal Great Plains Hunter this week. 1:32 twist. I'm going to try to work up a load with 385gr Great plains bullets. I'll probably start somewhere in the 80gr range and work up from there. Does anyone have any experience with these rifles?

    I know of people who were killed by a person high on drugs. A man and his wife who were out for a walk were run over by a drug addict not far from where I live. The man lived; the wife got killed. So yes, drug addicts kill innocent people.

    If only it worked that way. Trouble is drug addicts don't live on some island with no consequences. They are among us, and their decisions kill or hurt innocent people all the time.

    How can you have an honest discussion without bringing up one of the root causes of the problem. It shouldn't be political to say where the majority of the drugs originate, or how they get to our streets.

    I think that people are really "feeling" some of these policies and it scares the heck out of them. The natural reaction is to get pissed and fight. I can't blame them one bit.
