Franchi rifles

Mount Question
I am mounting a Trijicon Tenmile with a DNZ Game Reaper. In the attached picture, you will see that the bottom of the scope is very close to touching the cross bar of the scope mount. The gap is probably 3-4 sheets of paper in width. Is this cause for concern? -

Burris Fullfield
I had a Fullfield and recently installed a VX-Freedom on a rifle for a friend's son. In my opinion, the VX-Freedom glass is much clearer and sharper than the Burris. For what it's worth, I say get the Leupold. -

Marlin sight options
I went through the same and ended up mounting a Trijicon AccuPoint on mine with DNZ rings. It doesn't look like a classic but makes a great 0-150 yard woods gun for me. -
