How about the recoil lug?
If you’re rebarreling, I would. The expense is minimal and you have a precision ground lug as opposed to the stamped, likely not true factory lug. -
Tikka and Warne
I'm the odd man out. I don't like the vertically split Warne rings. They are more difficult than horizontally split rings to keep the reticle level during installation and they leave deeper marks on the scope tubes. I like Sportsmatch rings that mount directly to the Tikka dovetail. -
Leupold Backcountry mounts
You can order them directly from Hawkins without the level. Love those rings. -
Lightweight scope
Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x40 would be a good option. Great glass, bombproof and lightweight. -

6.5 Grendel vs .243 win
I own and use both 243 and 6.5 Grendel. In my opinion, it is splitting hairs comparing the 2. Both are equally capable within the range we hunt. For hogs, I prefer the Grendel in an AR platform. For deer, it's a tossup. -

I would echo the recommendations for a Tikka. Checks all of your boxes. I’ve had 4 Tikkas and all have been shooters. -
