6.8 Western Accuracy Expectations Unrealistic?
Question for you all that are shooting factory 6.8 Western ammo. Have any of you ran a chrono while shooting the factory ammo? Just curious as I have been reloading for three different X-bolt rifles in 6.8 Western. I have zero experience with the available factory loads.- Mtnhunter1

Montana pronghorn draw
Success for both my wife and I, for Loper Doe tags south of the river, with zero points. Kinda scratching my head with this as we filed separately and not as a party. FWPs must have given out a bunch of these or we were just fortunate in the drawing??- Mtnhunter1

I am surprised with this! I remember my Grandpa using the "Texas Heart Shot" term when describing the only shot opportunity a bull elk offered when I was like 8-10 years old in the early 70's. Regarding your questions, the answer is "YES"!- Mtnhunter1

Does anyone have the history on the "Texas Heart Shot"? It doesn't seem to matter what state the hunter calls home, they all seem to know what a "Texas Heart Shot" is.
