    I d throw that meat into a marinade or stew and get to cooking that ain’t bad looking to me. I have definitely ate worse. I vacuum seal my meat and I don’t have any frost free freezers.

    Each of those tags are like 30 bucks for a non resident. There are only two roads into the unit. The trailheads from going in there are very remote and time consuming to get to. You better have a saw/ax in your truck for clearing fallen trees and maybe tow straps and chains depending on the time...

    Most of these gravel roads have washboard so make sure you are not taking a truck you care about. Buy a wolf and bear tag while you are there. Lots of outfitter horse camps along the roads. Bring rain gear. PS welcome to hunt talk

    They should all be destroyed when they come onto public land. No mechanized travel off any established forest service road. I wish the center for biological diversity would sue Polaris for disturbing Wolf reproduction rather than game agencies.

    Your record looks like my archery record. I am going to strictly rifle hunt for a few years and maybe pick my bow up after having some rifle success. Keep on trucking… days in the field are the only way to get the skunk off you. Like they say can’t kill stuff from your couch.
