I knew CWD was spreading in KS, but this graphic doesn’t paint a great picture for the future. KS’ current CWD testing program is not great, and they test a very low percentage of the overall harvest. I will probably start testing all of my deer moving forward.
Just started watching that, and it seems promising. I damn near shut it off because the people were so hard to understand. Turn on the captions. Id recommend powering through the 1st episode before making a decision whether to continue.
I wear a backpack as well. I’ve never had an issue. Usually I’m packing water and snacks for the kids and dog, along with my ammo and some first aid gear.
I agree, but there isn’t a truly elite team this year. Watching Texas thump TT was one of the most impressive performances i’ve seen, but they might not even get into the playoff.
I bought a Ruger American compact in 7mm-08 for my boys. We’ll be using it on a tripod for a few years until they can properly handle it. Seems like a great gun though. It shot great right out of the box.
“The Killing” is a great series I never would’ve watched, but for my wife. Used to be on netflix but may have to pay for it now.
“Bloodline” is a good series too.
I packed out 3 loads alone. I had help with the last 2 loads after meeting a nice couple with horses. I had my camp packed in too, so that’s why it was 5 loads. I was 3+ miles in and over 11k feet.
