Your buddy who guides for the clinging remnants of wild steelhead in Lewiston is in fact king douchenozzle number 1. He surely will see those fish go extinct before he stops helping geriatric ****s get their grip and grin with a B run.
I’m looking to lighten the load on hunts where I don’t “need” my spotter or need a standing height tripod. Looking for something light and strong for binocular glassing only. Any suggestions?
Say what you will about this but if I’m driving to where I’m going I bring the fake logs made out of compressed sawdust. They burn way longer, hotter and cleaner, stack nice and I don’t have to dick around with cutting firewood. It’s hard to find a place that sells them in less than pallet...
I don’t agree with Greenpeace that the quality of the PET is worse in recycled. The quality of food grade is way higher having been refined to a high molecular density. I think we need more regional PET recycling that turns it into structural panels, blocks, boats, windmill propellers, shit like...
I almost always take the first legal bull. My time is limited so encounters are limited. Elk is our primary protein for a whole year. If the HDs I hunt had enough elk to be either sex I’d be happy to shoot a cow every year.
Don’t get beat up by any MMA fighters this weekend. Sometimes it’s better to give your elk to the guy who just shot all 20 bullets at it out of a moving vehicle. Go find you another one.
If all you want to do is tag along and learn something maybe you should just do a multi day backpack in elk country. The woods are fun without a rifle and you will learn a lot about the backcountry and yourself. I don’t blame Chad at all. You could be a huge liability.
What’s the rough score on that thing? When I had a shiras tag I spent a lot of pre hunt time obsessing over what it took to equal a B&C. From what I remember the ones like yours with the big brow palms really add inches.
