Well….a cop has about 7,000 hats to wear on a job……
Some of those Marines didn’t have a primary job as a trigger puller…..some drive trucks, used a keyboard, or a spoon….and just had some basic marksmanship training once a year.
Everyone’s different.
Have seen it in young Marines in combat and Law enforcement.
It would come down to a personal choice.
Frankly…after my LE time….a lot of LE isn’t cut out to use force either.
It would have to come down to each and every individuals personal choice if the option was...
Some facts came out today in the press brief from the police.
A TEACHER propped open a locked door to the outside of the school which the shooter used to enter.
That mistake right there let the shooter get ahead of the police.
That’s completely complacent and the teacher that made that...
The time of middle ground politics has passed….
All we have now is the extreme on each side which leads to grid lock. That’s probably better than either extreme getting their way.

A big part of my decision to walk away so early is the mounting damage from my time in service.
I’m going to enjoy things while I can….

I can run them through my shop and do credit card if desired. (No fee)
When you bring up moose everything changes a bit. Their bone structure is quite large. I’d max out at 80-90 with a handgun. Roughly 125 with a carbine.
44 will take critters quite a ways out. I took white tail at 240, 186, and 98 yards this year with a 7.5” handgun and quite a few other longer...
Deer are pretty easy to kill. I’d opt for a hollow point every time. Even when I hunt elk with a 44 all I use is a 240 hollow point. I don’t run factory ammo often….240 Sierra is my top choice. I did kill a cow with BArnes factory ammo last year.
