I’d say blisters are 90% a boot fit issue. Proper socks do help.
I have used the same make and model boot for 6 seasons….I have to replace them each year due to use.
This years set…something changed and caused blisters. I had to go buy a different model and problem solved.

not until the gun tells me it needs cleaned. Such as accuracy falls off, it gets wet/dirty from use in the field, and so on.
I have one from the day I built it….many years and a few dozen critters….still hasn’t been cleaned and shoots well.

I just use whatever cheap 22 ammo I have laying around. Most shots seem to be 15 yards or less.
