1. Her background is a mystery; she went as a puppy from a shelter in Statesboro, GA to a friend's apartment until he realized he wasn't able to care for a dog and asked me to take her. Breed, lineage, etc is pretty unknown but I have some guesses.
2. Was first named Minerva after a figure...
I've got a standing invitation to tag along with a buddy in New Mexico but it would take being able to hop on a plane short notice. I'm sure it's really really fun, maybe I'll achieve that kind of financial/schedule flexibility some day.
Jackrabbits leave pretty good trails in heavy snow, don't be afraid to follow one. I stalked one with a bow once doing that and was almost successful haha
I believe I'll be putting in for some longshot tags this year for New Mexico, just for fun. I'm thinking rifle antelope for me, rifle antelope for my wife, and then something fun like sheep, oryx etc. Maybe a late archery mule deer hunt for good measure! I don't want to put in for anything that...
I shoot factory ammo. My .308 likes the Nosler Trophy Grade accubonds in 150 grain. I have a few boxes of 165 grain of the same now and am going to play around with them a bit and see if I can tell a difference.
Already checked and they have some available online that look like the one you're describing. Is this it?

Awesome, thank you for sharing. I have been considering a Yeti hopper but also looking for a budget alternative. I may very well have to buy one of these Murdochs.
Generally people avoid talking about specific units in open threads because it drives demand for those units.
Best thing to do is check draw odds on WGF website and find something that fits your goal
One point unfortunately won't get you much as far as opportunity goes. Trespass fee, doe tags, or wait about two more years are all probably better options.
My wife refers to herself as her dog's mom. I asked her after we got married if I was his dad now. She said no you're his step-dad, obviously.
As for me, not into the whole treating my dog as my child thing, but at the same time I was like 19 when I got her and am working my way into my 30s...
California. Doubt there are any others. My question was really trying to get at whether or not these were Texas mule deer, of if they were from multiple different areas
