    Purty, Purty, Purty!!!

Marabou jigs in 1/16 or 1/8 oz. As for color it depends on what the fish like in your area. For me black, firetiger, and brown/yellow are the colors I try first. Some people do really well with white, but I haven't done that well with it around here. However it sure does work well in some states.

    Purty, Purty, Purty!!!

Brookies generally aren't really big, but they are always easy on the eyes. This was an epic day where it was basically a fish on every cast. I love high mountain lakes! Little dripper Just a stunning sky, background, and trout.

    First ever!

Pretty cool. I've never caught a muskie. Trying to photograph it solo would certainly be a challenge!

    Nice Brownie Photo

Contrary to popular belief I do occasionally fly fish, but if push comes to shove I'll always revert to jig fishing. I caught quite a few fish over the weekend. I just like the way this photograph turned out.

    JAWS!!!

Not quite what you probably thought, but it's definitely a fitting name for this big ol' brown. I wouldn't want him to bite my hand! Follow me on Instagram for a lot more pics and videos @troyadams1964

I'm Going To Need A BIGGER NET!!!

I'm sure it would have been entertaining, but probably would have required quite a bit of bleeping words out.

I'm Going To Need A BIGGER NET!!!

It is a minimum of 5 years old and could be as old as 7 years. The older fish have only been in this particular place for 5 to 7 years.

I'm Going To Need A BIGGER NET!!!

I was in too big of a hurry to get it back in the water so I didn't get a measurement. The opening of that net from the front to where the handle begins is exactly 18" so it's a pretty big fish as it hangs over both ends by a ways. Funny side story though. I was dressed in my work clothes which...

I'm Going To Need A BIGGER NET!!!

I was more than a little surprised when this old swamp monster rainbow tried to rip the rod out of my hands. I was fishing in a body of water not known for fist much bigger than 18" long. I guess nobody told this guy that. This is a seriously large rainbow trout for southern Utah. More pics on...

    A Tank-Tanker

Many people have owned tiger oscars and had them in their fish tanks. I had some many years ago and they are an interesting aggressive fish to raise. When I went on my recent trip to the Everglades, I knew there were some living there, and that they grew to some impressive sizes. I wanted one...

    Crazy Fun Trip!!!

It would be right up your alley. We caught 9 different species the first day. No trout anywhere close to the Everglades.
