Another meat safety question. Elk not recovered for 24 hours.
If you’re already waited over 15 hrs to recover a bull that went less than 200 yards what’s another couple hours just sitting around taking pictures and b roll. I’m sure it all went to the closest food bank anyways- TheTone

Got only my second IG block over the weekend for asking an “industry” person which sponsor was paying for her hunts on the same high price Utah ranch cam and Joe hunt at. Sure seems like that money would be better spent on actual conservation work that she claims to do- TheTone

Shooting from a tripod
Friend of mine is using a lefoto of some type with an arca ball head. He has or had a slik 734 but I haven’t seen him packing it at all lately. The lefoto is a monster but it’s surprisingly light I’ve thought about shooting off my slik 734. Not concerned with it providing a completely solid gun...- TheTone

I’d bet they would become big private hunting ranches before they see that type of development. The only other development I can see is million dollar houses. It definitely won’t be used for any sort of lower/middle class housing crunch Utah claims to be concerned about- TheTone

I’ve got a ton of neck meat off a few critters, enough to more than make it worthwhile The popularity of the gutless method has made a lot of people incredibly sloppy and borderline wasteful in my opinion.
