Nice rifle Both my rocky and desert rams were shot with A custom 7mm WSM @ 14.5 lbs field ready. Shooting 168 gr Bergers. A little heavy but very accurate for across canyon shooting. My Mtn. Goat I used a 270 WSM Browning Ti A-Bolt. Boy did I enjoy the less weight (less than half of the 7mm)... -

What I am amazed at is how little gear these guys have. That Subaru looks empty. I have to tow a 7’x14’ enclosed cargo trailer behind my truck for all the crap I take. 🤣😎 -

The hardly sweats part made me laugh as I just came in from working around the yard and changed into the third dry T-shirt for the day. Really depends on terrain. Works great in relatively flat grassy areas. If you have to work through sage brush (or other brush) they get to be a pain. I am on my third one now. Colorado gun case rules for ATV/UTV
I like a soft case to keep the rifle clean. Never have been in a rush to shoot when driving from camp to spots to hike or glass. Given that, why all the regulations for ATV/SxS but not pickups? -

1/2 to 3/4 mount in corner of room takes up little space. If I am ever lucky enough to draw another tag I will do it on a backpack. Like my ram except with the hide and head mounted.- LIK2HNT
