Overall, there's a lot better stuff out there for less money, especially when you look at brands not dedicated to hunting specific clothing. Except the zip-off base layer pants! Those things are awesome! Buy 2 pair.
He never comes back with a suspenseful ending. Just a bunch of "wait guys, you'll see". One of his buddies chimes in a few times. The memes are worth it! I should have been asleep 2 hours ago but I'm glad kept going. Truly hilarious stuff!
I made it through 25 pages tonight at work (Thankfully slow night at the hospital). Now, instead of going to sleep, I'm laughing my ass of at all the memes. Rokslide may be a much different group than here, but damn, they have some mad editing skills!
I've spoken with 3 different vets and have been given similar outlooks. TPLO is "supposed" to provide better long-term stability of the knee at the cost of changing it's orientation, thereby placing greater stress on the opposing knee. This often leads to failure of the ACL of the other knee...
Thanks guys. I have a consult with a surgeon in 2wks. She’s an active dog for being a great house pet. She plays for hours with the kids and might do a mile run every now and then. We don’t hunt for miles and miles or do daily marathons like some GSPs do.
My 3.5yr old GSP tore her ACL(CCL). Doing some research, I’m strongly considering the Tightrope procedure over the more common TPLO. The Tightrope seems to maintain natural range of motion and is strong enough for a young and active dog. Does anyone has experience with the Tightrope procedure...

I actually found 3 boxes of 410 #6 shot at my local Walmart Thursday morning. Sadly, they were sold out as soon as I left the store. My 11 yo was ecstatic as we have until the end of February for squirrel and rabbit season.
Sitka bivy pack: (I think it was the 45) My kid's Jansport would have been 100x more comfortable.
KUIU gaiters and chugach rain gear: Purchased both for my 1st elk hunt in 2016. Gaiters lasted almost 2 miles before busting stitches. Rain gear last less than 1yr before soaking through even with...
Lowas are great, durable boots and there are some models that will save you weight. Zamberlands fit my feet great however every model I’ve tried has much more flex than your Kenetreks. Schnee’s Absaroka will save you some weight while providing the support you’re used to. Solomon 4D and 3-mids...
Always great to share hunts with our kids! Congrats on 2 fantastic deer. I always look forward to seeing which piece of artwork you pulled from the safe.
For about $750 you can often pick up a new demo set of Zeiss Conquest HDs from Eurooptic. They are excellent glass and definitely worth the $50 increase of your price point.
