Of course I’ve known that for years, but I saved them for a few reasons. First, the season dates never overlapped my other hunts well for combos. Colorado Draw Changes
Well now I’m glad I burned my elk points in 2022 despite I got sick. Because with this change I’d have never drawn. I doubt this change will hurt my 28 lope points, but 15 deer points will definitely take a hit. But not unexpected as all the states routinely bait-n-switch these days.- Zim

Gr8banana, WTF dude, I have enough preference points stacked to draw one OIL hunt in 2025, 2026, 2027 & 2028 alone, if I live that long and can still walk. So I don’t need any random tag hits. They are just a bonus, which often I don’t even have the energy for. After that, I may rely on luck...- Zim

I feel sorry for the young guys trying to enter the draws first time. If I were them I see only 3 states left that it makes any sense to build points, and 2 random. That’s it. Any other states fees, including WY sheep & moose, are better invested in savings accounts for guided Canada hunts...- Zim
