2024 Utah Draw Results
I know I’m getting old when I keep thinking about the positives if I don’t draw. I will avoid the inevitable Achilles pain. The bigger positive of drawing is more burning my points than going on the hunt 🤔. Tired of the points treadmill. Look forward to burning more next year.- Zim

Can you strap a 6 hp Mercury on there? It's a little dicey 3 mile trek in the dark. One of my personal barrier-to-entry rules is to not hunt anywhere a guy would take a kayak. Just had a newbie smart enough to pick up the phone and call me last week. Educated him on the reality of ground floor entry in the UT & NV systems, including what .001 odds look like. He studied the odds and wisely opted to save his coin for his family. I steered him in more productive directions.- Zim

Not hardly 😀. I’m at the top of the Utah points pyramid and decided this was the year to make my personal dream come true by cashing my 27 deer points for the Paunsagunt. I’ll be eating just fine ☺️. From what I’ve observed, the premium tags were out of reach to newbies ~15 years ago. And since then, I’ve watched what I consider mediocre tags drift into the abyss. NFL Draft Predictions - a pointless game, but at least it has a $$ prize for the winner
The wife & I are in NW Indiana so Bears fans. I have to trust Ryan Poles on this one. Interested to see if this pans out. Standards are low here and I have no expectations. Both trenches were improved last year, tho Oline was injured but played well when they all returned.- Zim

Totally agree. However, I can tell you the odds for my unit 45 archery flipped from 90% to 10% the year of the welfare legislation, and only got worse. It was very significant. NR tags dropped what?…..from 16% to 6%? Been a while I forgot the exact numbers. Since then the blind masses have... -
