Well you sure are a negative nancy.
If I had to guess I would say the young lady had her car parked at her house that was 8 miles down the road all night the previous night but her dumb self forgot to plug it in.
Man that is crazy that you just stumbled upon those dinosaur bones. Went to the little museum in Jordan the other day and it was pretty cool to see some of the artifacts and bones they had displayed there.
I have a pair of Meindl (denalis?) that I just replaced. They were awesome boots and I had zero complaints. Keep the leather conditioned and gouped up and they were waterproof until the end. Only reason I did not get another pair is because I was seduced by the sale they had at schnees. Would...
I have not done much volunteering aside from donating some time here and there to work in the boy scout or 4h booth at the fair and/or highway borrow ditch clean up efforts. I would like to get involved with search and rescue but I'm not sure how valuable I would be beings as I work 55-60+ hrs a...
Man Wayne is a stud to do all that work. Good on you for recognizing your condition and taking a rest day instead of trying to tough it out and really getting into trouble. Congrats to you both on your success in more ways that one! Always entertaining to follow along in your adventures.
Cool thread. Funny how you kill a big one and you just know "I'll never get a bigger one".
My biggest so far was 366 in 2022 but ill get a bigger one, you just wait! ;)

I see now that the guy was in the wrong since he was in the wilderness when he took off and landed his drone and for that I appreciate the OP calling him out.
But as to address your point, wilderness areas do not have airspace that extend above them that is part of the wilderness, so if you...
But the OP said the meanie head was flying his drone "into" which I understood as the operator piloting the drone from outside of the wilderness area but flying over the ground in the wilderness area. Which seams legal according to the regs you posted.
If in fact that is what happened, that...
Though I don't agree with people flying their stupid drones here and there and everywhere, is it actually illegal? Wilderness is areas that prohibit mechanized travel on the ground, but are there regs for flying drones above the ground? I believe aircraft are legal to fly over wilderness areas...
Dammit. Supposedly I've got like 85% odds but mine still says pending and I still have the bonus points with no antelope under items held. I'm choosing to remain optomistic.
