I had a quivilizer and really liked it. It improved my shooting without a doubt. I used it for a few years and sold it off just to try something new but at times I wish I would have kept it. There's really no down side b/c its got quick connect mounts so you can mount it as a typical quiver or...
Hard to not post photos with beautiful mountain backdrops but its really easy to pinpoint exactly where people are when they do that. The sunset silhouettes are the worst/hardest not to post. 😔
Like you said, anybody who has archery hunted elk for any amount of time has had it happen, I know I have. You do your best to do everything right and still manage to somehow screw it up. It's unfortunate, but that is reality. I feel your sentiment.
Man I've heard of a lot of animals getting...
Like the title says, I made a bad cut and now find myself in need of a shoulder mount elk cape from a mature september bull. Please send me a PM if you have a lead on one. Montana would be ideal so we could meet up and make a face to face deal.

Most, yes, but definitely not all. I shot a bull a couple of years ago that turned and ran straight up hill for 1/2 mile and then died just over the back side of the ridge. Broadside 25 yd double lung. Just when you think you've got them figured out they do something like that to piss you right off.
If you think he is dead, find somebody with a dog EDIT: before you track too much scent all over the place.
