I’d really be back tracking in my head and finding all the learning I can. It’s tough, but necessary. We’ve all been there.
One of the tough lessons I’ve learned is to slow down. Let the bull chill. Move slow, be meticulous, and have a plan.
I stalked past my first bull 30 years ago multiple...
Assembled tonight and ready for break in! I went with a Maven RS 1.2, and it seems awesome so far. Leupold backcountry rail and rings. Weighs about 10 pounds loaded with the bipod and scope caps!
I routinely dream of playing again. Hilarious dreams of being a broken adult that forgot my helmet at home, but somehow am supposed to be playing a Highschool game. Nothing is better than a chilled Friday night under the lights.
My son gave it up… He’s a senior and captain on the wrestling...
I’m still waking up, but I don’t think so. It’s been a 1/4 century. I’d remember that name because the first is my Dad’s and the last is a friend’s last.
The problem is the 10%. I’ll use it ethically, but I know YOU won’t. Kidding… jokes man. Jokes. WE use our tech ethically, but 10% won’t. I can think of a few that won’t.
This applies to all tech though. The dude I’m thinking of will do ANYTHING to post picks of “monster” bucks and bulls. Shoot...
When I worked in Grand Teton back in the day I worked with a guy from Colorado that dead pan tried to convince me that he had killed elk from a tree stand with a spear… My bullshizometer was reading 💯.
Were you stalking me 20 years ago!?! I still have the pants and matching jacket, ammo box, and knife. I wonder where that turquoise Kelty fanny pack is???
It’ll be interesting to watch for her. The clipped ear is interesting and obvious. There isn’t a local pack of wolves in the area as far was we know, but transients bounce through. There are plenty of lions and bear.
Spokane is loaded with them. Possibly the ugliest rear end ever put on a vehicle. Front is pretty cool. Definitely not a utilitarian vehicle.
My buddy has a Ford Lightning. Cool for daily driving, but worthless for roadtrips into the wild. We tease him about looking for charging stations in...
My brother lost to the sun on a nice 5 two years ago. The land has a pile of aspen groves. I spotted him bedded under a tree in the shadows on a North facing slope at about 800 yard from an opposing mountain.
He stalked through the aspens on the opposing South facing slope to find an opening to...
In comparison to elk, and yes. A solid population, but it is private land.
I worked hard last, and this summer, to stop a major trespassing and poaching problem. Fencing, cameras, signs and vigorous confrontation seems to have helped.
I’m glad there’s a system allowing you to return the tag.
I’ve been there. I’ve had a pile of knee surgeries, and missed seasons. Keep fighting. You’ll recover.
The Lions have a great offense! The Bucs? It’ll be an adventure. Their wide outs seem to keep performing in spite of predicted drop offs since Brady retired.
