Serial puts this tang safety at 1978 but unfortunatly I have too many rifles on deck and needing funds for the essentials. I bought this rifle about 2 years ago hoping to engage other family members into shooting but no go. I glass bedded and free floated the barrel. Shoot sub moa consistently...
About 60 brass, maybe a shot or 2 left in them will be included. I am in Butte Montana and we could meet in person or even go for a shoot if you want. Otherwise I can ship to an ffl and would split the cost with you. Pics are a pain to load but can text additional pictures to anyone that is...
Just too many rifles and need funds for the essentials. I have owned this rifle for 5ish years. Includes everything pictured for $1300, vortex diamondback 4-12, sako rings, bell and carson stock that is glass bedded and free floated. I bought the rifle with the aftermarket stock and found a...
I've been shooting a 6.5 prc. It's amazing and recoil is super light which allows me to shoot much better. Enough but not too much, balance fits my needs.
I suppose quite a few great cartridges would be great with just a change in twist rate. Selling rifles makes more sense for the bottom line. The PRC line is here to stay imo, hopefully since I bought a 6.5. No complaints so far.
4 and 5 look good. Not a good judge for scoring. 5 is my vote for overall structure. My brother in law shot one that pushed over 89 but it's goofy looking.
Always lots of opinions. I do have a ruger tang safety in 243 win with a vortex 3x9 on it. Super easy to shoot and would fit the bill. If anyone is interested shoot me a line.
Just traded for a winchester 94 in 30-30, serial # puts in between 1950 and 1960. Sad to say the barrel is toast, literal hack job. Looking at options to rebarrel and replace the mag tube (also cut). Any suggestions on quality/cost efficient options?
Thanks for all the input. Looking online led me to leupold backcountry one piece rings. Looks like a good middleground around $100. Any experience out there with them?
Just purchased a bergara ridge wilderness in 6.5 prc. I have a leupold vx3 4.5-14 44mm to mount. Obviously this will utilize remington 700 mounting options, (rail, one piece, 2 piece???) Prefer to save some weight but not critical, hoping to hear some productive insight on the best option...
