It will fit. I have a Seekins base on a CA 300 WM. You just have to know that you'll have to match the contour of the receiver with the recoil lug on the base. Honestly, though the Warne Mountain Tech is just as light. -

My daughter drew the New Mexico unit 27 youth hunt that starts the weekend before Thanksgiving, 23 November and runs through December 1st. I put in for the unit thinking we would have a good opportunity to either kill a Coues or a Mule deer. Does anyone have some insight they could impart that... -

Is there any thing
I put a grizz in the dirt a few years ago with a 7RM. I shot him in the chest at 200 yards with a 180 Berger VLD. The 7RM may not be optimal, but it's certainly big enough for the job. Although, I'd be more comfortable with a 300 Mag of some sort and even more comfortable with a 338 Mag of some...- Brentc

300 Rum 230 berger load
My best results with precision, ES/SD, and velocity with the 230 in the RUM came with N570. It's 100 fps faster than H1000, 75 more than Retumbo, and 50 more than 8133. N570 really shines in the ES/SD area. I'd start at 88 grains and work up looking for precision around 90-92 grains- Brentc

Antelope...Lets See Them!!!
My daughter killed her first buck on a NM youth hunt last weekend. We saw a lot of great bucks and a lot of kids getting shots. Not a lot of killing, though. -

New Mexico Draw Results are out!!!!
I got on range Oryx, Barbary, and Deer. My daughter drew youth hunts in units 21-24 Antelope and unit 27 for deer. Should be a pretty decent year with a pocket full of tags.- Brentc
