Imo most guys who consistently take animals with a bow legitimately have a low wounding rate. I know personally I feel every bit as confident with my bow as I do a rifle. Just curious would you mind sharing approximately what the trip cost you in total? I was fortunate to fulfill a lifelong dream hunt in Alaska last year and now AK is always on my mind. I would be all for this, however you would be asking for people to be honest about it as there would be no viable way to force people to uphold to that regulation and I don't think many would notch their tag upon drawing blood.- elkhuntinfool78

In Montana NR Hunters secured over 85,000 hunting licences.
As a 6th generation Montanan I personally don't have a problem with non res hunters, if I didn't live here I'd want to come and hunt here also. Montana’s best steaks
Good thread, years ago I would have said the Oasis in Manhattan but not anymore. Best fillet I've had is actually at chico, only steak better than I can cook myself. Best ribeye or prime rib has been at the grand in big timber- elkhuntinfool78

He was actually a client of my wife's. Funny story, first thing he asked my wife before becoming a client was if she was a "gun person ". She said damn right I'm packing right now. They both laughed and from then he was her client. Really, really nice guy. Sad loss for sure.- elkhuntinfool78
