Kenetrek pac boot vs Mountain Extreme
Hey guys..my son and I are going on a WY wilderness elk horseback hunt in October of this year. Struggling to figure out if we should buy pac boots like the Kenetrek northern or the Mtn extreme 1000’s. Obviously the weather can be in the single digits to 50 degrees.. we will be doing some hiking...- TN VOL

Montana or Colorado Mule Deer Hunt?
Has anyone ever hunted a muzzleloader deer tag in Colorado? The early season would be awesome in the high country..! Have always wanted to do an early season high country rifle or bow hunt..but I know the early rifle tags take quite a few points in CO. -

I’m definitely more interested in the eastern units..In particular the units that border north and South Dakota. When you say opening weekend? Do you mean the first rifle hunt or second rifle hunt the first few days of each of those hunts?? Or the first rifle hunt of the year?? -

Also want to add that we have 3 points for WY, but I’m aware you can draw some units as a 2nd choice in special draw..I’ve never hunted WY public land for deer and wanted to save our points for an early rifle deer hunt in WY in the west part of the state..hopefully we can catch up to get enough... -

Hey guys..I've found a last minute opportunity on a NM Unit 2 elk landowner tag for muzzleloader or rifle...I've heard decent things about this unit. My only concern is I'm late into getting info/scouting the unit. The tag cost twice as much as a normal tag which isn't as bad as other landowner... -

The area I’m looking at allows antelope hunting..it’s just not clear to me if I can use a type 7 or type 2 tag which is deemed as private land only tags...it’s a gray area to me since the type 1 tags can hunt this walk in area.. -
