Biggest thing is simply spending some time (a lot) sending all different bullets and loads down range. It can take a while to find a combination that your particular rifle will like. Might be worthwhile mounting the scope to find a good load, but make sure you get plenty of time using a peep...- D-Mac

Why so many leftovers in CO unit 19?
There are some elk in there, but like others have said not a lot. It is thick in many places. Also I’ve seen a lot of folks back in “deep and high”. It’s a busy unit just with hikers and people recreating. I don’t mean to dissuade you but a lot of people talk about how they are willing to go... -

Success with leftover CO Antelope tag?
I’ve had success on the left over tags, but I go muzzleloader. Which in my experience leads to way less people, also way less shots, but hey that just means more stalks! Buffs35 is right though, access is the trickiest part of the tag usually. This guy was a left over tag this past year. -

Dreaming of summer
