What's your verdict? Did you get the Mesa after? I'm looking at the Mesa fft in 300 prc as well. Have two friends that purchased the Ridgeline in 300prc and both seem to shoot really well.
"The area is largely a desert environment used for cattle grazing, the elk plan noted. Sunlight Ranch Co. is the largest private landowner in the area. The ranch is owned by the Holding family. Earl Holding, who died in 2013, was the CEO of Sinclair oil company."
"Cebull also owns 5,000 acres...
I picked up this left hand ruger american 308 with a 3x9 Nikon scope from a friend a couple years ago at a really good price. Nothing fancy, hasn't been used much and I'd guess 100ish rounds through it. I find it to be a fun gun to shoot. It's light and easy to carry. I developed a couple good...
Just decided on something different. I shot 4 antelope, 6 deer and 3 elk with the hammers and they worked. Shot a different bullet this year and really liked what I observed on the 4 animals and don't envision going back to the hammers.
Have a box of 82, 7mm 143 grain HH and box of 77, 131 grain HH. Most of the 143 were loaded then bullets pulled with an RCBS collet. Prefer to sell together rather than split up. $110 shipped.
Die hard Griz fan and hope they pull out the W. Gonna be tough!. I watched the cats/sdsu game and if mellot doesn't get hut, I think cats win that game. But sdsu hasn't had a game even close since that game. Griz offense has t looked stellar last few games but think that's just good defense...
Nice! My brother bought one of the 110 ultralite in 6.5 prc last year. While developing a load, it was really a pleasure to shoot. Has me debating back and forth with the Christensen Mesa FFT for my next gun coming up.
My 280AI is such a good shooter and so easy to load for. Nearly every...
4 weeks post op from TKR today. Working hard on recovery, then plan to hit the gym. As of this coming Friday will be retired. The goal I've set is to be in the best physical shape I've ever been in on my 55th birthday in August.
I’ve been loading my 280AI since 2013. It seems to be easy to load for and all bullets I tried grouped well with H4831sc and RL19 too. I’ve shot 140 and 160 grain accubond, 145 grain Barnes LRX, 143 and 131 grain Hammer Hunters with good results. This past year I moved away from the 143 HH to...
No I never had any RL26 to try. I tried RL22, H4831sc but 57.5 grains of RL23 was the best in my gun. It was relatively slow at 3050 fps. I got it up to 3150 fps before pressure but accuracy wasn't nearly as good.
I'll have to give the series a watch. Have really liked the books. I liked the movies but yea reading the books and seeing TC try to play a big bad man, just didn't work. I first saw Alan Ritchson in Blue Mountain State. It's very raunchy humor and I found it absolutely hilarious.
As I said above I've used a lansky for 30ish years. Also have the worksharp Ken Onion but have never really gotten anything even remotely as sharp as the lansky. After reading this thread, I watched videos, read the manual again, watched a couple more videos. Took a dull knife and tried it...
