The warden never tried to write me a ticket or anything similar. He was just saying that it’s good for landowner/hunter relations if we get permission from them. I explained that it was federal land and no permission was necessary and he agreed but felt it would be a good gesture since it was...
Yes! My biggest mule deer came off a piece of blm that was part of a type 2 but had road access. The landowner got all butt hurt and called the game warden. Game warden showed up and told me about landowner relations…blah blah blah. I went home with a nice buck!
Don’t deflect. I didn’t say anything about that last 25 years.
They can do a lot for habitat. We have a good bio in my area that has done of conifer encroachment work and beaver dam work by developing good relationships with the blm, USFS, and organizations like RMEF and mdf.
There is a ton...
You might want to start demanding accountability then. The people inside are definitely calling Temple and GG out for their bullshit.
How do you feel about temple getting rid of many research bio’s and reassigning them to positions in the parks department? How about him trying to take money...
If you look back over the last three years you’ll find several times where organizations have reached out to GG regarding something shitty he has done with FWP. It’s not political….hes just trash when it comes to wildlife.
There are a lot of public land outfitters. I’m not in favor of any set asides for outfitters. I’d be fine with private land only doe tags to keep public land does from getting hammered.
This has been a pretty good thread, so let's keep it that way. There is no chance we get rid of NR deer licenses, so we don't need to waste time talking about it.
Nevada and Utah both start seasons in August every year. They don’t seem to have a problem with losing meat so the weather in MT for August is not an issue in my mind.
I had an interesting conversation with a customer today. They are a multi billion dollar company that reached out to me 4 years ago. I met with them in the spring, covered their entire property and mapped everything that needed addressed. After mapping I gave them a quote for what they would...
No no. In my house whoever discovers the problem takes care of it. We don’t “designate” anyone. Also, if you are having to order mouse traps by the dozen, you have a problem!
Your wife is the designated exterminator? Dang pard….next time she sets her purse down you should go get your balls out of there. Joking!
I’ve had good luck with mice and peanut butter but not so much with pack rats.
Unreal. I got passed by a Toyota Tacoma pulling a 26’ camper a couple weeks ago. That thing was squatted so hard I don’t know how he could see over his hood.
One thing to consider, that many people don’t understand, is the difference between kill and control. 24D doesn’t control many weeds. It’s an acid used as a burn down for most weeds and “kills” most broadleaves. It’s fairly ineffective for control of most weeds. Kill=disappear for that year...
