Second that on the dryer - I think most brands recommend drying with heat to reactivate existing DWR. Another common misconception is that washing is bad for technical gear, when it's actually more important to keep the breathable membrane and DWR functioning.- 4ohSick

I've used Nikwax spray-on dwr on well-loved ski gear and it's seemed to hold up pretty well. Finally pulled the trigger and started my waiting period for a Diligent Defense Enforcer S-Ti from Capitol Armory. ATF.gov has the current processing time for Form 4 trust e-forms at 225 days, so there should be a little wiggle room in having it before MT general season. -
