I carry a cheaper release in my pack as a backup.
In 2020 while chasing a bugling bull, I looked down at my wrist and my primary release was 50% gone, one of the set screws must have fell out. I pulled out my backup release, and 2 hours later I got in on that herd and killed a 6 point bull with...
If you feel like a bucket of fresh strawberries, my in-laws have an U-pick out on Neck Road in Dayton, OR which is right down the street. The berries look great this year
Was able to go pick the rifle up from the shop today. First impressions are that I like the finish and the feel is very nice, but I expected that based on owning a Hells Canyon LR and loving that gun.
The brake is pretty sizable, but it’s something I’ll deal with until I come up with a good...

Does anyone have any experience with this model? What kind of ammo do they like?
I own a Hells Canyon in...
I would be thinking real hard about getting a guide for one of those hunts if you don’t plan to turn a tag in. I personally prefer to hunt DIY on anything I can, but if you want to have a better chance at success in shortened time windows, local knowledge will likely be very critical.
