I’ll come back and read all the great advice later. My advice as a guy who killed a Stone‘s ram at 32 and has been trying like hell to save for a Dall is you aren’t going to out save a sheep hunt...and I am really, really happy every day when I look at my ram and relive that hunt for the past 20...- Steve O

Arizona Big Game Super Raffle - 2020

Winchester model 70 - sporter vs featherweight?
Featherweights usually have 22” barrels, sporters 24”. Slimmer profile on the featherweight barrel and stock as well. I’ve owned dozens of M70s of all shapes and sizes. Featherweight would be my pick with your description. I’d split the calibers and go 7mm-08 though. -

That would be interesting to know. I bet a call to the office in Wyoming might turn that info up. I’d guess a solid or a Partition in the lungs. Same with the Cape Buffalo. -
